Breathwork for Healing Group at Sunna

Join Amy Kuretsky for a small group breathwork + writing workshop at Sunna.

We know that breathwork is a powerful experiential tool and process that allows deep self-exploration and transformation. But did you also know that breathwork opens up creative channels and pathways in deeply powerful ways? In this gathering we’ll be using the breath to open up our connection to our intuition and inner creativity and then spend dedicated time in our own personal writing practices to process what came up for us.

Come to the group with a topic you’d like to explore, question you’d like to dive into, or mess you’re hoping to untangle - OR, show up with nothing but an open heart and curious mind and use one of Amy’s writing prompts to guide your writing time.

Breathwork uses only the power of our own breath with the support of music and a group dynamic to access a non-ordinary state of consciousness. We will seek a better understanding of ourselves through an intentional breathing practice to go within into the deepest parts of ourselves and witness whatever we find there with love and compassion.

There’s significant power in coming together in a sacred container to breathe and open our hearts together as a group. This group dynamic allows you to care for yourself while you care for your community through group healing. Because this process can bring up intense emotions and strong physical experiences, please understand that issues arising from participation in Breathwork may require additional therapeutic or supportive interventions.

This 90-min event will be split into four parts: time to ground into our present truth and set intentions for our time together, time to lay down and breathe, time after the breathing to process what came up for us in our own personal writing practices, and lastly time to share, witness, and ask questions.

No previous breathwork experience necessary. Wear comfy and warm clothes, bring a yoga mat, plus an extra blanket or whatever makes you feel the most cozy and supported.

REGISTER HERE

If you are in the first trimester of pregnancy, have a recent TBI or history with seizures, retinal detachment, or any other significant health issue you’d like Amy to be aware of, please make this information known to her prior to your participation via email. As always, please feel empowered to discuss breathwork with your physician if you are concerned about participating for any reason.

New Year Breathwork + Soundbath Mini Retreat: Honoring the Water Element

New Year Breathwork + Soundbath Mini Retreat: Honoring the Water Element

Honor winter’s Water element with a soothing breathwork and soundbath experience.

As we enter a new year, nature invites us to slow down and listen inward. In the Five Element cycle of Chinese medicine, Winter is the season of Water - the element that teaches us about rest, reflection, and renewal. Water asks us to pause and trust the wisdom found in stillness.

Join Amy Kuretsky, L.Ac. for a 90-minute breathwork and soundbath mini retreat designed to help you reconnect with your inner flow and nourish your nervous system after the busyness of the year’s end.

We’ll begin with guided breathwork to clear energetic and emotional residue from the past year - releasing what’s ready to be let go and creating space for what’s next. Then, you’ll be invited into a deeply restorative soundbath, where the vibrations of crystal bowls and other healing sounds ripple through the body, mirroring the gentle movement of water. This immersive soundscape supports the nervous system in settling, allowing the body to enter a state of profound rest and integration.

During the soundbath, you’ll have the option to rest and receive or spend time in reflective journaling using prompts provided by Amy, inspired by the themes of the Water element -intuition, fear and courage, flow, and replenishment. This space for quiet reflection offers a gentle way to anchor the insights that arise through breath and sound.

Whether you come to release, rest, or realign with your own rhythm, this mini retreat is a chance to begin the year feeling more grounded, spacious, and connected to your inner waters.

This 90-min event will be split into four parts:

Time to ground into our present moment and set intentions for our time together.

Time to lay down and breathe.

Time after the breathing to receive the healing vibrations of the sound bath and process what came up for us in our own rest, writing, or integration practices.

Time to reflect as a group, ask questions, and close our time together.

Before you arrive:

No previous breathwork experience necessary. Wear comfy and warm clothes, bring a yoga mat, notebook and pen, water bottle, plus an extra blanket or whatever makes you feel the most cozy and supported.

Restorative Breathwork for Healing Practitioners

Clearing the Healer’s Body: Breathwork for Therapists and Helpers.

Join us for a 90-minute guided breathwork experience with seasoned facilitator Amy Kuretsky, L.Ac, who brings over eight years of experience leading breathwork groups.

In a time when so many of us are navigating the collapse of our nervous systems (dorsal vagal responses) —characterized by shutdown, exhaustion, and a pull toward disconnection—more stimulation is not the answer. What we're truly craving is space: to release, to soften, and to come back into ourselves.

These breathwork offerings are designed specifically for healing professionals—therapists, bodyworkers, space-holders, and helpers—who are often the ones absorbing emotional residue from others while holding their own. These sessions will offer a gentle, supportive container to clear energetic buildup, reconnect with your own internal rhythms, and release what no longer belongs to you.

Expect less hustle, more restoration. Through guided breathwork, we’ll tap into your parasympathetic nervous system, supporting regulation and renewal without overstimulation. This is a time just for you—a place where your own needs are centered and honored.

Come exhale what you’ve been carrying. Leave feeling lighter, grounded, and more attuned to your inner world.

Our time together will be spent completing a grounding introduction to the breathwork practice, moving into a 45- minute breathwork session, and closure with a self and group reflection.

What to bring: a yoga mat, comfy clothes, and anything else that helps you feel cozy and support (think blankets, eye pillows, etc)

Cost: $45 per class

BREATHWORK CIRCLE: LETTING GO

In a world that often asks us to keep pushing, many of us find ourselves exhausted, disconnected, or simply overwhelmed. What if, instead of doing more, we simply allowed ourselves to breathe?

This Breathwork Circle offers a gentle, nurturing space to release what you’ve been carrying, soften into presence, and reconnect with the calm that already lives within you. Together, we’ll explore how conscious breath work can help clear energetic buildup, support your nervous system, and guide you home to yourself.

Through guided breathwork, we’ll invite your parasympathetic nervous system to awaken: bringing balance, regulation, and deep renewal without overstimulation. This is your time to pause, exhale, and remember what it feels like to truly rest in your own being.

As the season shifts, come make space for yourself. Leave feeling lighter, grounded, and more attuned to your inner world.

What to Expect: We’ll begin with a grounding introduction to the breath and an opportunity to pull an oracle card for intention setting. From there, you’ll be guided through a 45-minute breathwork journey, followed by gentle integration, sound bath, and space for self and group reflection.

What to Bring: Please bring a yoga mat, wear comfortable clothing, and feel free to bring anything that helps you feel cozy and supported, blankets, eye pillows, a favorite crystal, etc

Facilitated by: Amy Kuretsky (she/her) is a licensed acupuncturist with the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, nationally board certified in Chinese herbal medicine through NCBAHM, and nationally board certified in Health Coaching through NBHWC. Breathwork + Soundbath at Sunna

Join Amy Kuretsky, L.Ac from Constellation Acupuncture & Healing Arts, and Kali Higgins from KALI for a small group breathwork + soundbath experience at Sunna.

Right now, in these wild times, we all need a bit more tending to our nervous systems. In this gathering we’ll be using the breath to release any stagnant energy that has been weighing us down, and then spend dedicated rest time being soothed by the gentle tones of a soundbath.

Breathwork uses only the power of our own breath with the support of music and a group dynamic to access a non-ordinary state of consciousness. We will seek a better understanding of ourselves through an intentional breathing practice to go within into the deepest parts of ourselves and witness whatever we find there with love and compassion.

Sound healing and vibrational sound therapies support people in shifting their consciousness, allowing for the mind to go into deeper states of meditation and relaxation. Each bowl and instrument has a resonant sound and sonic qualities that can also facilitate healing and spiritual connection on an energetic level. There is so much unnecessary noise in our daily lives that create discord in the body. By tuning into the harmonious sounds of the singing bowl, or working with dissonant sounds of the gongs, etc., sound meditation invites your body, mind, and spirit to re-align with their own natural frequencies of well-being.

There’s significant power in coming together in a sacred container to breathe and open our hearts together as a group. This group dynamic allows you to care for yourself while you care for your community through group healing.

This 90-min event will be split into four parts:

  • Time to ground into our present moment and set intentions for our time together.

  • Time to lay down and breathe.

  • Time after the breathing to receive the healing quality of sound.

  • Time to integrate the session as a group, ask questions, and close our time together.

Before you arrive:

No previous breathwork experience necessary. Wear comfy and warm clothes, bring a yoga mat, notebook and pen, water bottle, plus an extra blanket or whatever makes you feel the most cozy and supported.

This 2hr event will be split into three parts: time to discuss the current astrology and set intentions as the wheel of the year turns, time to lay down and breathe together, and time after the breathing to share, witness, and ask questions.

No previous breathwork experience necessary. Wear comfy and warm clothes, bring a yoga mat, plus an eye covering or extra blanket or whatever makes you feel the most cozy and supported. Masking is optional, however taking a rapid test before arriving is requested – and also, Amy has done breathwork with a surgical mask on and reports it was fairly comfortable!

Register over at Yess yoga here

If you are in the first trimester of pregnancy, have a recent TBI or history with seizures, retinal detachment, or any other significant health issue you’d like Amy to be aware of, please make this information known to her prior to your participation via email. As always, please feel empowered to discuss breathwork with your physician if you are concerned about participating for any reason.

Breathwork + Writing Group at Sunna

Breathwork + Writing Group

Breathwork + Writing Group

  • Constellation Acupuncture & Healing Arts (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

Join Amy Kuretsky for a small group breathwork + writing class, meeting every other Tuesday evening at Constellation Acupuncture & Healing Arts.

Masking is optional, however taking a rapid test before arriving is requested – and also, Amy has done breathwork with a surgical mask on and reports it was fairly comfortable!

Classes are $50 per attendee and registration occurs over on our booking site (button below).

Please note that registration is non-refundable, however if something comes up and you are not able to make it to class you CAN transfer your registration to a future date at least 24 hours in advance of the class. Cancellations within the 24 hour period will not be refunded.
