Our COVID-19 Safety Procedures

Your health and safety is important to us.

As we welcome you into our space, we want to share the steps we’re taking to prioritize your safety and the safety of our staff.

Update 8/1/23:

Masks are now optional but welcome for patients in the waiting room and treatment room. If you do not have a face mask and would like one, a disposable paper surgical mask will be provided for you when you arrive.

Clinic staff will continue to mask in all patient interactions.

Research has shown that masking can greatly reduce the risk of infection when combined with other prevention efforts such as social distancing and hand hygiene. Our clinic mask policy reflects our priority of caring for our collective community, patients, and staff. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

This page will be updated regularly as our policies evolve and change.

What we’re doing.

Here are some of the steps we are taking to help slow the spread of COVID-19 and create a safer clinic space.

  • Our team is vaccinated against COVID-19.

  • HEPA air filters are being used throughout the clinic space.

  • Surface disinfection with medical-grade cleaning products will be done between patients and at the end of the clinic day.

  • Our team will be wearing masks, washing hands, and practicing diligent personal hygiene.

  • Our team will stay home and get tested if they exhibit any symptoms of COVID-19, including cough, fever, and shortness of breath, or if they have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

  • We are offering some virtual appointments as an option for those who prefer to receive care from the comfort of their homes.

What we are asking of you.

Safety requires a team effort. Please review the following guidelines for in-person appointments.

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • If you’ve recently been diagnosed with COVID-19, we ask that you wait 10 days past your first positive test result before coming in.

  • Alert us if you have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19 in the last 5 days. If you have concerns about whether or not you should keep your appointment, please call us promptly at 612-339-5088.

  • Please bring a face mask to the appointment and be prepared to wear it for the entire session, regardless of symptoms. To be effective, masks should fit the face snugly but comfortably on the face, be secured with ear loops or ties, and cover both the nose and mouth at all times. Handkerchiefs, bandanas, and/or holding fabric over one's mouth and/or nose is not an acceptable substitute. If you do not have a face mask, one will be provided for you.

WHEN YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • Alert us if you have recently developed two of more of the following symptoms: fever, cough, difficulty breathing, fatigue, headache, loss of taste or smell, nausea, and bowel habit changes. If you have any of these symptoms, you may need to reschedule your appointment, unless you have had at least one negative COVID-19 test within the last 48 hours.

We look forward to seeing you in the clinic!

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
