Qigong Circle with Kari Petersen (Sliding Scale)

  • Constellation Classroom 2817 Anthony Lane South #102 Minneapolis, MN, 55418 United States (map)

Join Kari Petersen of Sundog Healing for a peaceful, nervous system down-regulating hour and experience the power of group Qigong practice and healing during our biweekly Community Qi Circle. When we practice together, our individual energy combines to raise the vibration for shared restoration and renewal. Through breathing techniques, mindful movement, and group meditation, we support each other's journey toward complete balance and healing.

This practice is 1hr consisting of gentle warm-ups, core Qigong exercises done standing, sitting, or lying down, and group healing meditation that includes personalized healing. This practice is based in Spring Forest QiGong, a modern, highly accessible form of an ancient Chinese healing practice, developed by internationally recognized Grand Master Chunyi Lin.

Pre-registration required. This offering is intentionally sliding scale ($10-$30), making rest and care more accessible to our community. All are welcome. Qigong is for everybody. No prior experience is needed - simply come as you are.

Note: You may arrive a few minutes early to connect and settle in. Bring water to “charge” energy during meditation. Wear socks and comfortable clothing for gentle movement. Feel free to bring any additional items that will support you during your practice and meditation.

Accessibility: We will have yoga mats, blankets, folding chairs and floor cushions with backs available for seating. Qigong can be performed in a wheelchair. Masks will be available for attendees who desire them. If you have questions about the accessibility of this event for your specific circumstances, please contact us at info@constellationacu.com.

About the instructor:

Kari Petersen (she/her) is a certified Spring Forest Qigong practitioner and Qi Medicine specialist who helps people worldwide align their body, mind, and spirit to amplify their innate healing potential. From her Minneapolis studio Sundog Healing, she works with clients facing chronic pain, chronic disease, emotional trauma, neurological disorders, cancer, infertility, autoimmune conditions, and developmental disorders.

Following a severe cervical spine injury in 2021 that limited her ability to perform daily tasks, Kari discovered the transformative power of qigong. Using Spring Forest Qigong alongside conventional treatments like physical therapy and acupuncture, she successfully avoided invasive surgery and restored full function. This profound personal experience ignited her mission to share qigong's healing power with others. Drawing on her background as a former yoga instructor and Reiki Master-Teacher, Kari creates a welcoming environment where clients build confidence in their own healing abilities. Her calm presence, deep expertise, and compassionate approach help people discover that healing is not only possible—it's within their own power.

Kari's mission aligns with Grand Master Chunyi Lin's vision: "A healer in every home, and a world without pain and suffering." She is passionate about sharing as much healing with the community as possible, ensuring all people have access to longer, happier, and more joyful lives.

Beyond qigong, Kari's passion for education extends to teaching youth and adult programs in mountain biking, snowboarding, and yoga—bringing her dynamic, engaging approach to all learning environments.

We are excited to welcome Kari to the Classroom to share this powerful medicine!
