All proceeds from this event will be donated to organizations that support folks impacted by ICE occupation.
This event features both group acupuncture (also known as community-style acupuncture) and massage therapy, allowing attendees to receive care at a lower price point than private treatment. After a brief intake, you will receive individualized acupuncture treatment in the limbs and head. You will be in a group setting and will remain fully clothed for both acupuncture and massage.
These sessions are a great way to support your body in recovering from stress, to receive acupuncture or massage for the first time, or simply to enjoy a moment pause in shared healing space with others.
Feel free to rest as long as you’d like with needles in. Chair massage will be in 10-15-minute segments.
This offering is intentionally sliding scale, making symptom management, rest, and care more accessible to our community. Standard rate is $40, suggested sliding scale of $20-$65.
What to bring: Wear comfortable clothing that provides easy access to the knees and elbows, plus anything else that makes you feel the most cozy and supported.
