Group acupuncture (also known as community-style acupuncture) provides the opportunity to receive acupuncture care in a group setting, at a lower price point than private treatment. After a brief intake, you will receive individualized acupuncture treatment and rest for 20-30 minutes. You will be fully clothed and your acupuncturist will use points primarily located on the limbs and head.
These sessions are a great way to try acupuncture for the first time, support symptom management between private acupuncture sessions, or simply to enjoy a moment pause in shared healing space with others.
This offering is intentionally sliding scale, making symptom management, rest, and care more accessible to our community. Standard rate is $45, sliding scale of $25-$65. Expect your treatment to last approximately 45 minutes.
What to bring: Wear comfortable clothing that provides easy access to the knees and elbows, plus an extra blanket or whatever makes you feel the most cozy and supported.
Accessibility: Patients will be treated on massage tables and zero gravity chairs at this event. A stool will be available to help patients get up on the massage table, if needed. Treatment can also easily be provided to patients in a wheelchair. Masks will be available for patients who desire them.
