Join Steph Sanders, LAc in honoring the autumnal transition with an intimate Fall Equinox community acupuncture gathering rooted in the wisdom of Chinese Medicine. The Fall Equinox marks a significant transition between summer and winter, signified by equal amounts of light and dark and a shift to cooler, drier weather. This time of year corresponds to the Metal element, which influences our relationship to structure, discernment, and the act of ‘letting go’.
This small-group experience (limited to 6 participants) invites you to slow down and find balance in this time of transition. At this pivotal moment, we will celebrate a slower pace, self-reflection, and release — both in nature and within ourselves — by inviting stillness and reflection in a community healing circle.
This 90-minute event includes:
Chinese medicine seasonal self-care tips
Guided meditation to attune with the solstice and seasonal energy
Community-style general wellness acupuncture treatment to regulate the nervous system and anchor into the body
A seasonal solstice-inspired herbal tea to nourish the respiratory and immune system
No previous acupuncture experience necessary. New and returning patients are warmly welcome! Wear comfy, loose fitting clothes and bring whatever makes you feel the most cozy and supported (a favorite blanket, an eye pillow, etc). Attendees will recline in a zero gravity chair or on a massage table to receive acupuncture treatment.
If you have any significant health issue or other concerns that you’d like Steph to be aware of prior to your attendance at the event, please reach out in advance via email. As always, please feel empowered to discuss acupuncture with your physician if you are concerned about participating for any reason.
