Join us for a Yoga + Acupuncture class!

Yoga and acupuncture are a match made in the chillest of heavens. Whether you're new to acupuncture, yoga or you love them both, this is a great, affordable way to combine these two healing modalities in one evening, twice a month, at Water Bar & Public Studios in NE Minneapolis.

This 90-minute class is split up as follows: the first 60 minutes include slow-flowing yoga and deep breathing, led by one of our phenomenal yoga teachers. Then, during your final resting pose, one of the acu-babes from our clinic will lull you into a short but powerful needle nap. Practice ends with a meditation designed to send you back into the world feeling more connected and grounded.

All levels are welcome. Bring your own mat and water bottle.

Exchange is $25. You may drop in on the day of class, but a paid pre-registration is the only way to guarantee your spot.

Meet our instructors:

Tatum Fjerstad
Tatum has more than 8 years of experience teaching yoga and meditation all over the U.S. and sometimes in Canada. She decided to take on the grueling, life-changing task of becoming an acupuncturist because of the incredible impact it had on managing her anxiety, depression, insomnia and digestion issues. In an effort to get better acquainted with the body and learn how sense the subtle but impactful imbalances in the nervous system, she also decided to dive into Craniosacral Therapy during her first year of school. This incredibly gentle and deeply healing practice has given her a newfound respect for the body’s ability to heal itself. Learn more about Tatum through her website

Greg Hines
Greg has been teaching yoga in the Twin Cities area and Denver, CO for ten years. His classes offer students space to interpret the body as a vehicle to evoke deeper meaning in their lives. Greg believes that as we reclaim our sensitivity, the body unfolds before the senses and can more profoundly encounter the world with kindness, generosity and curiosity. Outside of yoga teaching, Greg currently serves as the Front Desk Manager of One Yoga, a non-profit studio in Uptown Minneapolis, overseeing their Work Trade volunteer program. Jenn Pray
Jenn is a dancer who sings and a yogi who climbs things. She started teaching yoga in 2010 to a room full of students at a Dutch university and ever since, she's been sharing her passion for movement and mindfulness at studios, festivals, and retreats around the world. Jenn was a Your Yoga teacher from 2013 until 2018. She is known for flowing, light-hearted classes. Her training includes Your Yoga, James Miller Yoga, and Kula Yoga Project's 75-hour advanced training. Jenn is a graduate of the University of Iowa, where she has a degree in Dance and International Studies. Beyond teaching yoga, Jenn is a choreographer and performs regularly as a dance artist.
