Everyone deserves healing - but systemic biases and institutional racial and economic injustice create a reality where healing is inaccessible for many. To honor our value of healing as a human right, reduced acupuncture appointment rates are available to those who identify as part of a marginalized community and are experiencing economic hardship. Reduced acupuncture rates are also available to anyone who qualifies for state programs like economic or healthcare assistance (such as SNAP, Medical Assistance, and Minnesota Care).

Pay It Forward & Reparations Offerings
To help us continue making reduced rate appointments available, patients who are feeling abundant can a choose to add an optional financial offering to their appointment at the time of booking or payment.
Appointments with Amy, Leah, and Kim include an optional Pay It Forward add-on charge of $15. These funds go towards financially sponsoring reduced rate appointments.
Appointments with Sarah include an optional Reparations/Pay-It-Forward add-on charge of $50 or $100. One hundred percent of these funds go directly to Sarah, to support her in providing reduced rate appointments.
Constellation Acupuncture & Healing Arts is not in-network with any health insurance companies, and we do not bill insurance for services provided. If your insurance company covers acupuncture services, we are happy to provide you with a receipt or superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for out-of-network coverage. We encourage you to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flex Spend cards to pay for your treatment if that is an option for you.
Forms of payment accepted include: cash, checks, debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express), and HSA/FSA cards. Please make checks payable to Constellation Acupuncture & Healing Arts. There will be a $20 fee for any returned checks. Payment is due at time of service.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Your appointment time is reserved specifically for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Changes can be made online using the link in your confirmation email, or by calling us at 612-339-5088 or emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
All appointments (including new patient appointments) needing to be cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours advance notice will be charged 50% of the regular appointment fee to the card on file. This includes appointments that are made as part of a package.
In the event of a missed appointment without any notification of cancellation or rescheduling (“no-call, no-show”), you will be charged the full cost of the regular appointment fee to the card on file. This includes appointments that are made as part of a package.
Patients who are receiving reduced rate fees will be charged as described above, based on the reduced rate.
Exceptions will be made for late cancellation or reschedule requests for the following reasons:
Rescheduling an appointment within the next seven days with the same practitioner: no charge
Medical or family emergencies: no charge
Bad weather: $30 fee (unless schools are closed, then you won't be charged)
Appointments are considered cancelled and forfeited 20 minutes after the appointment time without advance notice and charged to the card on file per the policy. Please contact us at 612-339-5088 if you are running late.
