Yoga and acupuncture are a match made in the chillest of heavens. Whether you're new to acupuncture, yoga or you love them both, this workshop is a great, affordable way to combine these two healing modalities in one heavenly Sunday afternoon.
During this workshop, you will learn about how Traditional Chinese Medicine and yoga can work together to release tension, promote relaxation, and generate body awareness. The first hour of the workshop will be dedicated to movement, followed by a 20-minute community acupuncture experience and finish off with pranayama and meditation.
This is a more in-depth version of our bi-weekly Tuesday night yoga + acupuncture classes, where we will have more time to go in-depth on how you can use acupuncture channels, movement, and other principles of Chinese medicine to transition into fall with ease and release.
Yoga will be taught by Tatum Fjerstad, who is also a student of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at Northwestern Health Sciences University, and acupuncture provided by Kim Christensen, Licensed Acupuncturist.
Exchange is $40 / $35 for students and space is limited to 15 people.
