Join us for an afternoon of community-style acupuncture relaxation treatments in our newly expanded clinic space. Treatments will be available on a sliding scale of $10-$50, with 100% of proceeds donated to the Hurricane Maria Community Relief & Recovery Fund. The Fund is governed by organizations like Puerto Rico-based Taller Salud, the G8 of Caño Martín Peña, and other local, grassroots organizations, and will be housed at the Center for Popular Democracy. The Fund will support organizations working with these hardest hit communities in Puerto Rico, with one hundred percent of monies raised going to support immediate relief, recovery, and equitable rebuilding.
In community-style acupuncture treatments, patients are seated in recliner chairs together in a common space. Patients remain fully clothed and therapies are performed primarily on arms, legs, scalp, and ears. Treatments last around 45 minutes, and appointments must be made in advance. We suggest wearing loose-fitting, comfy clothes so we can easily access your arms and legs!
