Join us for an afternoon of community-style acupuncture treatments, available on a sliding scale of $15-$50. One hundred percent of proceeds will be donated to Sex Workers Outreach Project (SWOP). Sex Workers Outreach Project is a national social justice network dedicated to the fundamental human rights of people involved in the sex trade and their communities, focusing on ending violence and stigma through education and advocacy. The Minneapolis Chapter is a peer-based support group focusing on harm reduction, outreach, and building community for Sex Workers.
In community-style acupuncture treatments, patients are seated in recliner chairs together in a common space. Patients remain fully clothed and therapies are performed primarily on arms, legs, scalp, and ears. Treatments last around 45 minutes. We suggest wearing loose-fitting, comfy clothes so we can easily access your arms and legs!
Sign-up is required, and opens 60 days prior to event date. Please bring cash or check to pay for your treatment, so we can avoid card processing fees and give as much back to the organization as possible.
