Reiki channels universal energy to help balance your own internal energy.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei, which means “higher power”, and Ki (or in Chinese, qi), which means “life force energy”.

This safe, effective, and soothing form of energy medicine helps to regulate the flow of the body’s energies and promote balance and healing of mind, body, and spirit. Reiki allows physical, emotional, and energetic blockages to break apart and fall away, and increases the vibratory level of energy in and around the physical body.

During a Reiki session, the practitioner gently places their hands on or hover their hands above the client's body. As the flow of life force energy is channelled, it is common for the person receiving Reiki to experience a range of sensations, such as warmth, tingling, movement, deep relaxation, emotional release or clarity, or visual imagery. Reiki is known to be helpful for a wide range of conditions, is an excellent complementary therapy to other forms of medicine, and is appropriate for people of all ages and states of health.

I wasn’t sure what to expect at my first Reiki session, but Kim made me feel totally comfortable. We started the session by discussing my health goals. She was a great listener and I could tell that she customized my session based on what I had told her. My Reiki session was so relaxing and was the perfect time to better connect with my mind and body. I felt really energized and more in-tune with myself when I left my appointment.

In addition to Reiki, we also offer other energy medicine services:

Crystal Healing

Just like plants, stones have their own vibrational energy that can be used to influence the body's qi and blood. In our treatments, we use crystals and stones in the classical Chinese medicine tradition to treat physical, emotional, and spiritual imbalances. We incorporate crystals and stones into many of our acupuncture, tui na massage, Reiki, Breathwork, and Tarot sessions.

Guided Relaxation Meditations

This gentle, yet powerful, approach invites deep relaxation and healing through the powers of imagination and intention. Through imagery, metaphor, and mindfulness, guided relaxation mediations encourage awareness of the connections between the body, senses, emotions, and breath. Guided relaxation is often combined with other therapies, like acupuncture or Reiki.
